Plant similar in habit to Angraecum florulentum Rchb. f., but is stronger growing and has a differently shaped Tip. Bosser placed it in section Euangraecurn Schltr. even though the inflorescence is only one- or two flowered. The plant characteristics are also similar to species in the African section Afrangraecum Summerh., but in that section of the base of the peduncle is solidary with the rachis, a condition that is not found in the Madagascan plant.
Distribution:
N. & ENE. Madagascar
