Description:

Flowers resupinate. Sepals and petals fimbriate. No spur. Seeds of the Orchis type.

Gynostemium short and massive. Stigma entire, formed of the middle lobe, padded. Rostellum bilobed, notched in the centre, both lobes strongly divergent, massive, erect. Viscidia naked. Anther erect, both locules parallel, apically, diverging basally. Connective relatively narrow. Massulae rounded to elongate. Tetrads elongate.

Auricles inconspicuous.
