Description:
Plant with a short stem or apparently stemless. Leaves 6-8 in 2 rows, narrowly linear, slightly fleshy, glaucous green, compressed at the base to form a pseudo-petiole 2-3 cm long, in total 25-45 cm long, 0.6-1 cm wide. Inflorescences 2 or 3, pendent, 25-40 cm long, single-flowered; peduncle rigid, slender but slightly swollen at the nodes, covered with overlapping sheaths except near the base, each 7-9 mm long. Flowers green, slightly fleshy; dorsal sepal oval-lanceolate, subacuminate, 3-3.8 cm 1ong, 6-8 mm wide near the base; lateral sepals acuminate,3.2-4.5 cm long, 9-12 mm wide; petals lanceolate, acuminate, 2.5-3.5 cm long, 7-9 mm wide; lip rounded or subcordate at the base, flat, oblong or subpandurate with 2 basal ridges on its upper surface, acuminate, 2.2-2.8 cm long, 8-12 mm wide; column foot boat-shaped, 9-10 mm long, extending into a straight or curved spur that is swollen and clavate at the end, 8-12 mm long.
Habitat:
Epiphyte in humid places in lowland evergreen forest; 700-1230 m; flowering January to March.
