Description:

Differing from ssp. typica by the leaves which are obtuse, the rachis less dense with the flowers arranged in all directions the labellum thickened basally and with no visible veins, the spur smaller, much wider than tall and alt of the bracts are 3 veined and longer than the flowers to the apex.
