Description:

Plants terrestrial, 15-30 cm tall; tubers 2, oblong-fusiform; stems bare or nearly an, bearing only 2-3 basal sheaths and a radical leaf. Leaf oblong (6-10 x 2-3.5 cm.), slightly attenuate basally, acute or shortly acuminate. Rachis sub-dense, many flowered, unilateral, 8-15cm. tall; bracts lanceolate-acuminate, ordinarily equal to the length of the flowers but sometimes slightly longer, flowers small, yellow. Sepals oblong. Obtuse, 1 veined, 3 mm long. Petals longer than the sepals, and slightly narrower, oblong, obtuse, 2 veined and slightly thickened apically. Labellum oval-elliptical (3.3 x 1.75 mm.), obtuse, not divided, 3 veined basally, thick and fleshy in the apical half; spur narrowly conical, gradually attenuate toward the apex, 2.5 mm long. Anther subgbobubous, very obtuse; staminodes oblong, subsquare, half as long as the anther. Pedicel 6.8 mm long.
