Description:
Plants terrestrial, thin, 60-78 cm tall, tubers fusiform-elongated, tipped with a single root; stem sheathed basally by 2-3 blackish sheaths, bearing 3-4 developed leaves medially, then with several sheaths with their limbuses rapidly decreasing in size. Leaves linear (nearly 23 x 1.3 cm), acute or acuminate. Inflorescence dense, narrowly cylindrical (10 x 1.5 cm generally), densely many flowered; bracts narrowly lanceolate-acuminate, the inferiors longer than the flowers: flowers yellowish green, small (3 mm without the pedicel). Sepals oblong, obtuse, 3 veined, generally 3 mm long. Petals oval, obtuse, 1 veined, nearly as long as the sepals, but slightly wider. Labellum nearly oval (3 x 2.75 mm), concave, trilobed is its apical third; lobes oval-triangular-obtuse, nearly equal, the laterals slightly thicker and attenuate toward the apex, the median fleshy, spur very short, oblongoid-saccate and obtuse. Anther retuse, bearing a very small apicule apically; staminodes rounded, crenulate, nearly half as long as the anther. Pedicel 6 mm long.
