Differing from the type (ssp. typica) by the following characteristics. plants greenish when dried; bracts shorter, equaling the pedicel at most; sepals slightly obovate. more rounded apically; petals much more rounded apically, longer than the sepals; lateral lobes of the labellum narrow and acute; anther with a tall apicule, median lobe of the rostellum totally rounded; pedicel shorter (3 mm), larger and heavily arched-reflexed
Habitat:

In ericoid bushes recently burnt (savoka with philippia), between 2600 and 2800 m alt flowering April.
