Description:
Pseudobulbs, ovoid brilliant yellow. Leaves less numerous narrowly linear-lanceolate, acute, plicate, longer than the scape. Inflorescence generally 20 cm long, bearing 6 membraneous sheaths of a pale color, large and acuminate; cluster 12 flowered; bracts small, oval-lanceolate. Sepals and petals connivent, nearly similar, oval-lanceolate, acute and yellow, the lateral sepals and the petals enlarged basally on the front edge and forming a short mentum. Petals slightly smaller and more obtuse. Labellum thin, small, shorter than the petals, trilobed, the lateral lobes small, obtuse and curved behind; median lobe oval-oblong, obtuse, slightly barbate medially, with a small spot of reddish; spur absent.
