Description:
A creeping epiphytic herb to 15 cm long. Pseudobulbs 2 - 4 mm high, 7 - 9 mm long, angular subfusilorm, dorsiventrally compressed, borne 0.4 - 1.4 cm apart, tightly covered with scarious sheaths when young, forming a mat, 1-leafed, inserted on one side. Leaf suberect; blade 2.2 - 2.4 × 0.6 - 1.4 cm, ovate to elliptic, obtuse, emarginate and apiculale; petiole 1.8 - 20 mm, twisted; sheaths canaliculate 3 - 7 × 1 - 1.5 mm. Inflorescence to 13 mm, basal, erect, 2 - 3-flowered; peduncle to 10 mm, very slender at the base; rachis 2 - 5 mm; bracts 2.8 × 1.4 mm, very broadly ovate, sheathing. Flowers translucent, with green petals and dorsal sepal striped with purple, purple lateral sepals and a dark purple lip; pedicel and ovary 1.8 mm long. Dorsal sepal 5.2 × 2 mm, narrowly triangular to oblong, keeled on outer surface, apiculatc. Lateral sepals 5.2 × 1.5 mm, narrowly obliquely oblong, keeled on outer surface, apiculatc, joined in basal part, forming a sac-like mentum with the column-foot. Petals 6 × 1.2 mm, narrowly oblong, acute. Lip 2.0 - 3 × 1.2 mm, ovate, winged in basal half, V-shaped in cross-section, margins denticulate. Column truncate, 1.5 mm long; pollinia 8, 4 large elliptic, 0.25 mm long, 4 small 0.2 mm long; stigma concave.
Habitat:
In evergreen mist-forest; 1450 - 1550 m.
