Description:
Epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to inconspicuous, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptical, rounded apically, gradually narrowing below into he petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a short, single flowered inflorescence holding the brown maroon to brick red fleshy flower below the leaf.
Habitat:
In cloud forests in deep moss at elevations around 2700 meters.

NE. DR Congo to W. Uganda
