Description:
Plant 11 in. high, slender, not hairy, aphyllous when flowering; sheaths about 10, triangular, aristate. Racemes elongate, secund. Bracts lanceolate, as long or slightly shorter than the ovary. Sepals triangular, unequal, dorsal longer than the lateral. Petals oblong, retuse at the apex, angled on either side, extended from the sinus into a straight thread, or in the upper flowers into several threads. Lip adnate to the base of the column, boat-shaped, oblong, acuminate, apex deflexed, with a lateral tooth on either side, sometimes long-toothed, sometimes filiform; spur filiform, as long as the ovary, or longer in the lower flowers.
