Description:
Plants acaulis, leaves elongated (25-32 x 2-3 cm), bilobed apically, lobes obtuse and equal. Inflorescence thin, longly (50-70 cm) pendent, developing more branches with age, very loosely 2-3 times branched, peduncle short, branch elongated, the last of which is 3-6cm long, bearing 2-3 apical greenish flowers; sheaths short (2 mm), bracts wide and short (4 mm), apiculate. Median sepal lanceolate (37 x 7 mm), very acute, attenuate gradually from the base to the apex and 7-9 veined; lateral sepals of the same length, very enlarged is front below the center and wider, abruptly acuminate, 7 veined and very bent is the area of enlargement. Petals longer than the sepals, longly acuminate above the oval base. Labellum 4.5 cm long, with a thick, short unguis, then widely (14 mm) subcordate, slightly wider (16 mm) from the center to the upper third, acuminate wider than long (12 mm) is an acute point and many veined; spur cylindrical 12 mm long. Foot elongated (12mm). Anther 2 mm wide; pollina spherical; bandeletts narrow, 2.5 mm long. Column very thick: auricles narrow and acute (3 x 0.5 mm), obliquely incurved; medias tooth of the rostellum very short and obtuse. Pedicel 1.5-2 cm long.
Habitat:
Epiphyte of trunks, eastern forests from 700 m, alt.; flowering in February.
