Description:
Plant with a very short stem or apparently stemless. Leaves 4 or 5,ligulate-oblong, leathery, unequally bilobed at the apex, with rounded lobes 8-10 mm long, midrib protuberant on lower surface, 16-22 cm long, 3.5-4 cm wide. Inflorescence pendent, slender, simple or with few branches, 1- to 5-flowered; peduncle with 13-16 blackish sheaths, shorter than the internodes, up to I.3 m long. Flowers green with yellow tips to the sepals and petals; dorsal sepal ovate, subacuminate, apex subobtuse, 23-26 mm long, l2-13 mm wide; lateral sepals similar but expanded on the front margin; petals broadly ovate, apex broadly acuminate, 22-24 mm long, 11-12 mm wide; Iip ovate, base deeply cordate, apex acute and recurved, margins finely toothed, with 2 diverging keels on the upper surface at the base, 22-28 mm long, 18-20 mm wide; column foot boat-shaped, 15-18 mm long; spur straight, clavate, narrow at the mouth, slightly inflated above, 8-10 mm long.
Habitat:
In humid evergreen forests at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters.
