Description:
Stemless, epiphytic plant with short, overlapping leaf sheaths; leaves 10-12 x 1.5-2 cm, light green, leathery, unequally obtusely bilobed; inflorescence slender and pendent, simple or branched chose to the tip; four to flowers in short terminal raceme; flowers light green, sepals slightly yellowish at the tips; dorsal sepal 2.5-2.7 cm x 8-9 mm, five-veined; lateral sepals 2.7-3 cm x 1 cm, five to seven-veined; petals 1.6-1.7 cm x 6-6.5 mm, three- to five-veined; hp curved, 1.7-1.8 cm long, 1.2-1.3 cm wide; spur obtuse, 6-7 mm long; column fleshy, 4 mm long; ovary 10-12 mm long.
Habitat:
In humid lowland forests.

Notes:
Very distinct species, recognizable by its thick leaves, grey-blue green color, and its flowers with its short, highly compressed spur.
Distribution:
Northeastern Madagascar.
