Description:
Roots 1.5-2 mm in diameter; stem more or less short or elongated, the size of the smallest roots. Inflorescences 7-15 cm long, peduncle approximately one-quarter the length of the total inflorescence; rachis 4-20 flowered, rachis straight; bracts small, obtuse (0.5 mm), equaling about one-eighth the length of the pedicel, which is 4-5 mm long; flowers white, small (flowers 2-3 mm long). Median sepal very concave, widely oval-subacute (1.2-1.3 x 1-1. l mm), hyaline and 1veined, lateral sepals larger (2 x 1.2 mm), very unequal literal, very enlarged-rounded on their front margin, acute and 1 veined. Petals oblong-lanceolate (1-2 x 0.5-1 .6 mm), slightly acute. Labellum orbicular (2 mm in diameter generally) or nearly, rounded or truncate basally, slightly emarginate apically, more or less crenate-denticulate and 5-7 veined, spur 3.5- 4mm. long, slightly curved in front, attenuate from the oriface to the apex which is narrow and obtuse. Column short (0.7-0.8 mm), rear margin of the clinandrium slightly angular-obtuse. Rostellum in 2 narrow laminas, obliquely pendent, 0.4 mm long. Anther (l mm wide) provided in front with a projecting (0.4 mm), angular-obtuse tongue; pollina subglobulous; cauda slightly enlarged toward the pollina; viscidium very small, flat and triangular.
Habitat:
Epiphyte of branches, humid forests from 0-300 m alt.; is flowering in September-December.
