Description:
Leaves oblong, acuminate, obliquely cordate at the base, shortly petiolate, 4–6 in. long, 1 1/4–2 1/4 in. broad. Rhachis of raceme rather stout, rarely branched at the base. Bracts squamiform, triangular. Flowers 1 in. long. Lateral sepals ovate, slightly oblique; dorsal oblong, rather shorter than the lateral. Petals very similar to the sepals. Lip ovate, nearly triangular, acute; disc with two linear lamellæ, one behind the other, hyaline and fimbriate at the apex, reflexed and appressed to the limb. Column curved, the basal third united to the lip.
