Description:
Terrestrial herb 17–25 cm tall; stem creeping at the base, erect in the upper part, leafy. Leaves petiolate, the base sheathing; lamina 3–3.5 × 1.7 cm, ovate. Inflorescence terminal, fairly densely many-flowered; rhachis 3.5–13 cm long; ovary and pedicel erect, 5 mm long; bracts 5–7 mm long, anceolate, acuminate. Flowers green and white with a yellowish throat, very small, c. 2.5 mm long. Sepals 2–2.5 × 0.75–2 mm, ovate, obtuse, the dorsalsepal convex, the lateral sepals somewhat oblique. Petals 1.75 × 1 mm, linear, falcate, adnate to lip, the apices free. Lip 2.5 mm long; hypochile narrowly saccate with sides incurved, 1.5 mm wide when flattened, with 2 hooked calli in the base; epichile 1.25–2 mm wide, transversely oblong or reniform, entire. Column 1.5 mm long, rostellum arms elongate, triangular.
Habitat:
Evergreen rainforest, in deep shade.
