Description:
Plant dwarf with a slender stem 4–5 cm long, and very narrow roots, 1 mm in diameter. Leaves up to 10 spaced along the stem, ligulate, unequally bilobed at the apex, twisted at the base and attached to leaf bases 1 cm long, 3.5–4.5 cm long, 6–7 mm wide. Inflorescences capitate, 6 mm in diameter; bracts rounded, 3 mm long; pedicel and ovary 3 mm long. Flowers white; sepals elliptic, rounded, 2.5–2.7 mm long, 1.3–1.5 mm wide; petals obovate, rounded, 2.5 mm long, 1.4 mm wide; lip concave, broadly ovate, obscurely 3-lobed, 1.8 mm long, 2.2–2.4 mm wide; spur globose, transparent, 1.2–1.3 mm long.
Habitat:
In montane evergreen forest; 850–950 m; flowering in January.
