Description:
Stems to 7 cm long, erect or pendent. Leaves 5 to 10, borne in a fan, 15-100 x 1-2 cm, linear, acuminate, the apex very unequally bilobed, with one lobe often almost absent. Inflorescences 2 cm long, densely many-flowered. Pedicel and ovary 7-9 mm long; bracts 2-3 mm long. Flowers white, the lip with green marks in the throat. Sepals and petals 2-5 x 1-2.5 mm, elliptic, obtuse. Lip 4- 9 x 2-4 mm, obscurely trilobed; side lobes rounded, midlobe ovate, obtuse, the edges wavy; spur 3-7 mm long, S-shaped, wide-mouthed and swollen again at the apex. Column 2 mm long.
Habitat:
Epiphytic in evergreen forest, 900-1100 m (3000-3600 ft.). Flowering in March.
Cultivation:
As given for the genus, warm to cool growing epiphyte.
