Description:
Pseudobulbs ovoid, 3/4–1 in. long, usually 2-leaved; leaves spreading, ovate, subacute, rather thick and coriaceous, with depressed veins, shining above, 3/4–2 1/2 in. long, 1/2–1 1/2 in. broad; scapes 2–6 in. high; raceme dense, many-flowered; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, 1/4– 1/3 in. long; pedicels slightly longer than the bracts; dorsal sepal linear-oblong, obtuse, 1/6– 1/4 in. long, with revolute margins; lateral sepals ovate-oblong, subfalcate, subobtuse, 1/8– 1/6 in. long; petals linear, obtuse, about as long as the dorsal sepal, with revolute margins; lip recurved, elliptic-oblong, truncate or obscurely bilobed at the apex, 1/8– 1/6 in. long; sides inflexed towards the apex; column clavate, incurved, 1/10– 1/12 in. long.
Habitat:
In sandy soils, and in forests among rocks lower elevations.
