Description:
Herbs generally 30 cm. tall, roots villous; Stem bearing 5-6 basal leaves, more or less close, petiolate generally 1.5 cm long), oblong (4-5 x 1.3-2 cm.), rounded or very obtuse basally, apiculate apial1y, then with 4-5 sheaths above, distant. Inflorescence loose, to 10 cm long at most, 8-12 flowered; bracts longer than the ovary; flowers slightly puberulent-glandular exteriorly. Sepals oblong, 1 veined and obtuse, the median smaller (3.7 x 1.2 mm) than the laterals (4.5 x 1,8 mm.). Petals oblanceolate-linear (3.2 0.4 mm), obtuse and 1 veined. Labellum 3.7 - 4 mm long, 3 veined, with 4 small calluses on the lower ‘quarter (2 laterals in short crests and 2 smaller medians) and a median apical lobe wider than tall and slightly acute. Column 3 mm tall. Anther oval-acute (1.7 x 1 mm.), cordate basally; lobes of the rostellum obtuse and flat. Ovary puberulent-glandular and 7-8 mm long.
Habitat:
In montane and lower montane forests at elevations of 300 to 500 meters.

Flowering in November-December.
