Description:
Plants 7-15 cm. tall; pseudobulbs 2, the older short (1.5 cm. tall), rounded and obliquely upright. the newer bulb straight, with 2-3 elliptical leaves (2.1-9 x 1.3-2.6 cm.), shortly acute or acuminate, attenuate toward the base in a long petiole (6-15 mm.) and plicate-veined, with 2 veins more projecting. Inflorescence 2-7 cm. long; cluster 3-10 flowered; flowers of a clear yellow, turning yellow-orange; bracts herbaceous, equaling the pedicel or slightly shorter. Median sepal lanceolate (6 x 0.9 mm.), obtuse and with no visible veins; laterals semi-orbicular (4 x 2 mm.), very obtuse and obscurely 3 veined. Petals (6 mm.) linear. Labellum (5 x 4 mm.), 1.5 mm. wide basally, auriculate, then abruptly enlarged-dilate in a transverse-sub rectangular lamina (1,7 mm. tall and 4 mm. wide), apiculate medially-apically and angular-acute toward both ends on the rear margin; provided with 2 small calluses basally; with 3 slightly visible veins, the median simple, the laterals branching toward the external edge. Column 3,5 mm. tall, with narrow wings. Anther small (0.7 mm.), oval, the rostrum less acute, (0,3 mm.), being shorter than the lobes; pollina solitary per lobe. Pedicel 5 mm long.
