Platycoryne protearum var. recurvirostrum G.Will., Pl. Syst. Evol. 134: 60 (1980).
Description:

Differs from typical variety in having the mid-lobe of the rostellum curving backwards and being shorter than the anther thecae. The whole plant is much smaller.
Notes:

This species resembles Platycoryne protearum, having a very similar rostellum, but differs in the 3-lobed lip. Stigma oblong.
