Plant very small, inflorescence scarcely reaching 2 cm. in height, few-flowered; flowers orange; sepals and petals united in a tube in the lower part, total length 1.5-2 mm.; lip free, very concave with the apex hooded and terminating in an inflexed sharp point, 1.5-2 mm. long; spur almost globose or ellipsoid, 0.6-0.9 mm. long and a little narrower; column very short with two rounded lobes in front; anther 4-lobed; pollinia 4, 2 large and 2 small Taeniophyllum coxii
