Description:
Plants pendent with long white roots spreading from a short stem. Leaves folded, linear, acute, greyish green, 5-25 cm long, 3-6 mm wide. Inflorescences usually several, pendent or arching, 3-8 cm long, 2- to 10-flowered. Flowers white with greenish tips to the tepals, scabrid on the outer surface; dorsal sepal ovate, acute, 6-7 mm long, 2-3 mm wide; lateral sepals oblique, ovate-lanceolate, acute, 6-9 mm long, 2-3 mm wide; petals slightly reflexed, lanceolate, acuminate, 5.5-6.5 mm long, 2-3 mm wide. Lip slightly recurved, ovate to rhombic, obscurely 3-lobed in the middle, acuminate, 6-8 mm long, 2-4 mm wide; spur slender, cylindric, 3-4 cm long.
Habitat:
Epiphyte on trunks and larger branches of trees in highland forests, especially rough-barked trees, and on Grevillea and other trees in plantations; 1450-2400 m; flowering in March and April.
